How do I take care of my jewelry?
Care & Keeping
Every arrow and alchemy piece is handmade using all-natural components, and like all things born from nature, they ask to be treated with a little tenderness.
To ensure the longest life for your new adornment, please keep the following in mind:
Water & Moisture While stainless steel, gold-fill, and sterling silver are water resistant, we always recommend keeping your pieces dry. Saltwater and pool chemicals are particularly harsh — they can and will erode even solid gold over time. Wire-wrapped pieces, shell charms, and anything with pearls are especially sensitive and should never be worn in the ocean or pool.
Daily Wear Remove your jewelry before sleeping, exercising, or any strenuous activity. We especially recommend taking off arrowhead pieces before bed. Your pieces are meant to be worn and loved — just mindfully. Also, keep in mind wearing arrowheads around children; though not incredibly sharp, we do not recommend them for little hands! :)
Lotions, Perfumes & Chemicals Spritz first, jewels second — always. Lotions, perfumes, and other products can affect the natural finish of your pieces over time. If anything does come into contact with your jewelry, gently wipe clean with a damp cloth or the jewelry cloth provided with your order.
Treat your pieces like the little treasures they are, and they'll be with you for a long time. 🐚

Are the shells, pearls, and gemstones real?
Absolutely! Every single one. All shells, pearls, and gemstones used in arrow and alchemy pieces are 100% real and thoughtfully sourced.
Many of the shells were personally foraged by me; pulled from tide pools in Maui, walked up from the shores of Florida's west coast, and lovingly "rescued" from estate sales or acquired from passionate collectors. Each one carries a little history before it ever becomes a piece of jewelry.
My pearls are all ethically sourced through collectors, dealers, and Pacific divers who share the same respect for the ocean that drives everything I create.
My gemstones are real and carefully selected for their natural beauty and energy because what you wear should always feel like the real thing.
In the rare case that a piece incorporates a synthetic or resin element, this will always be clearly noted in the product description. Transparency is important to me; every listing is detailed and honest so you always know exactly what you're bringing home.
Nothing synthetic, nothing artificial, just the real magic the earth left behind.

Can you make a duplicate of a sold out piece?
Yes! And I love when this happens! 🤍
While every arrow and alchemy piece is one-of-a-kind by nature, if something stopped you in your tracks and it's already found a new home, there's a good chance I can create something very close to it, as long as the components are available. Because I work with natural materials, no two pieces will ever be identical, but that's part of the magic. What you'll receive will be its own beautiful version of the one you fell in love with.
If there's a sold out piece calling your name, reach out to me on the Contact page and let's see what we can make happen.

Returns & Exhanges
Returns & Exchanges
All arrow and alchemy sales are final. Because each piece is one-of-a-kind and handmade to order, we do not accept returns.
We do offer a 7-day exchange policy from the date your item is delivered. If you'd like to exchange your piece, please reach out to us within that window at arrowandalchemy@gmail.com. Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition. Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the buyer, and we recommend using a tracked shipping method as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages in transit.
Please note that due to the handmade and natural nature of our materials — shells, pearls, stones, and arrowheads — slight variations in color, shape, and texture are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.
In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will do our best to make it right.
arrow and alchemy is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. Once your order has been handed off to the carrier, it is in their care. If your package is lost or arrives damaged due to transit, we encourage you to file a claim directly with USPS or the carrier selected at checkout. We are happy to provide any order information needed to assist with your claim.
Every piece that leaves my hands has been made with intention, love, and a little salt air magic. I want you to treasure what you receive, so if something feels off, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always here. 🐚

Do you offer wholesale?
arrow and alchemy is available for consignment partnerships — specializing in curated, location-specific capsule collections that feel intentional and completely one-of-a-kind. Whether you're a boutique, café, or lifestyle shop, I love the idea of creating something that feels made for your space and your people.
As a one-woman, fully handmade operation, all orders require advance planning to allow proper creation time — so the earlier we connect, the better!
In select cases, I do offer semi-wholesale arrangements for the right fit.
If any of this sparks something, I'd love to hear from you. Reach out via the Contact page and let's talk about what we can create together.

Do you do custom work?
Yes! Custom pieces are truly one of my favorite things to create! There is something so special about making something that was dreamed up specifically for you.
That said, custom orders do come with a few guidelines to make sure the process is smooth and enjoyable for both of us:
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your custom order before I begin any work
Custom pieces require ample lead time, so please plan accordingly and reach out as early as possible
Because every custom piece is made with you in mind, all custom sales are final and are not eligible for the exchange policy
Availability of natural components like specific shells, stones, or pearls may influence the final design; I will always communicate openly with you throughout the process
A photo or inspiration reference is always helpful but never required; sometimes the best pieces come from a simple feeling or idea
If you have something in mind: a gift, a special occasion, or just a piece that feels completely and entirely you, I'd love to bring it to life. Reach out via the Contact page and let's start the conversation.
